How do I remove silk eyelash extensions?
As an eyelash technician, you know that removing silk eyelash extensions is a crucial step in preserving the health of your customers' natural lashes. So how do you safely carry out this step?
First, thoroughly cleanse your client's lashes with an eyelash extension shampoo (like the one available from Velvet Extension) to remove any traces of make-up or impurities. Then apply hydrogel patches to the lower eyelids to protect the fine skin in this area.
Soak a cotton bud in eyelash remover and apply generously to the base of each extension, insisting on the area where the glue has been applied. Leave the remover to act for the time indicated on the product leaflet, then remove each extension using tweezers. Finally, simply clean the lashes again (this is essential to remove any residual glue or remover).
