How to apply glitter to varnished nails?

Gluing glitter onto classic nail polish: we recommend you apply a base coat to create a protective base for your nails. Then apply your classic nail polish in the color of your choice, leave to dry and apply a top coat (transparent, matte, etc.). To simplify glitter application, pour a small amount into a container and dip your nail directly into it, or stick glitters on with a fine nail brush. The still-fresh top coat will catch the glitters and position them on the nail. Finish with another coat of top coat and voilà!

Gluing glitter onto semi-permanent varnish and gel: lightly roughen the nail surface, then apply a small amount of base coat for semi-permanent varnish or gel. Then apply a first coat of varnish and catalyze it under the UV or LED lamp, then apply a second coat of varnish without catalyzing it. This is when you add the glitter: you can proceed in the same way as for classic varnish (by dipping your finger directly into it, or depositing it directly with a brush). Catalyze, apply a coat of top coat and you've got a shiny manicure!
How do I remove glitter from my nails?
If you're wearing classic nail polish, simply remove the glitter by soaking a cotton pad generously in nail polish remover (with or without acetone, depending on your preference) and rubbing gently to remove the glitter. If the glitter is too clingy, apply pressure to your nail with the cotton pad. The glitter should soften and come off easily afterwards!
For semi-permanent nail polish, you'll need to do a removal procedure: lightly file the nail surface to break up the top coat, soak a cotton pad in nail polish remover with acetone and apply it to the nail. Wrap the nail in aluminum foil and leave for 15-20 minutes, until the polish and glitter have peeled off. Rub gently with a cotton swab to remove any remaining residue, and repeat the operation if necessary.
