What is Velvet Extension training?

It's a correspondence course that teaches you the basics of the ciliary prosthesis profession. The key: your training certificate, so you can work with confidence.
Don't forget that theory is essential. It's important to be familiar with hygiene measures and the correct gestures to use, as you'll be working on a very sensitive organ: the eye.

At the end of your training, you'll be able to perform a Russian eyelash extension application and advise your customers on the thickness, length and curvature of extensions suited to their eye shape, lifestyle and desires.

Prerequisites

• Eyelash-to-eyelash training required: your certificate or attestation of eyelash-to-eyelash training will be required to validate registration for the Russian Volume training.

Training content

• Preparing your workstation :
  • Preparation of workstation and tools required for Russian volume eyelash extension application
  • Preparing the massage table and various adapted tables
  • Cleaning equipment (disinfectants and suitable tools)
  • Preparing the table before customers arrive and welcoming them (barrier gestures, comfort, background music, etc.).
  • Tool and equipment preparation
  • Presentation of the different clamps for the Russian volume method
  • Presentation of products used and different thicknesses for the Russian volume (0.05/0.07/0.10/0.12)
  • Presentation of supports for Russian volume and positioning of the lash strip
  • Introduction to mapping types (Dolls, Kim K, etc.)
• Preparing the customer's eyes:
  • Use micellar water or eyelash shampoo to clean eyelids
  • Natural lash cleaning (primer, preparator, booster glue...)
  • Application of hydrogel patches (plasters if necessary)
  • Choice of mapping and map design on patches
• Russian volume extension :
  • Explanation and demonstration of Russian volume techniques (wingle wingle technique, 2D/3D/4D bouquets...)
  • Step-by-step bouquet extension installation (insulation, grip, placement, hanging)
  • Management of lashes not to be covered, soaking, distribution, repetition on both eyes
