How do I use a lash primer?
As an eyelash professional, using a lash primer is a crucial step in guaranteeing the best results and meeting your customers' expectations. Why should you? Because primer plays an essential role in preparing natural lashes before applying extensions. As mentioned above, it improves glue adhesion, extends the life of lash extensions, protects natural lashes from applied products and boosts volume and Curvature. Impossible to do without!
To use it correctly, carefully remove make-up from lashes and make sure they're dry. How do I use a lash remover?
Mastering the eyelash remover is essential for gently and safely removing your customers' eyelash extensions, while preserving the health of their natural lashes. Here's a complete guide on how to use it effectively!
Once your customer is comfortable, protect her eyes with hydrogel patches (also available from Velvet Extension). As with primer application, gently remove make-up from the eyelids, ensuring that no traces of product (mascara, etc.) remain. Dip a cotton bud, brush or micro-brush into the remover and apply to the eyelash extensions. It's essential that they're saturated with product, to facilitate removal!
Leave the remover on for the recommended time, usually between 3 and 10 minutes. Gently remove the extensions from the natural lashes, using fine tweezers or a special tool. Velvet Extension tip: start with the extensions furthest from the eye and work towards the more central ones. Finally, clean the natural lashes with a cotton swab soaked in warm water and lash shampoo to remove any remover residue. Please note! Your client's eyes must remain closed throughout the process.
